Rudolph Bundas was a commercial artist, also painting portraits and landscapes in watercolor and oil.
Bundas studied at the Cleveland Art Institute; Western Reserve University; and on art fellowships in Europe. He taught art at Seattle University.
He was a member of the Annie Wright Seminary in Tacoma, Washington; Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters; and the Northwest Watercolor Society. He exhibited widely since 1933, and won numerous awards.
